Creative Frankie Seeka reveals the hidden truth in Omah Lay’s stage drama

Nigerian video creator Frankie Seeka shared his perspective on Omah Lay’s viral stage dance with a fan, suggesting it was a calculated move for publicity.
He emphasized the pre-set stage, lights, and well-choreographed dance as evidence of planning in a video on Instagram. Frankie cautioned against accepting the video at face value, urging viewers to think critically.
He said, “This video of Omah Lay and this girl, if you believe it, then you’re not a very creative thinker. Look at the facts: that stage was pre-set, everything was pre-set—the curtains, lights, and everything—which means there was a plan to do something like that.”

In his analysis, Frankie advised against calling women names due to the performance, stating, “Kudos to his creative director, but that video is not real, so leave Nigerian women alone because you’ve already started saying ‘fear women, fear women’, think.”

Meanwhile, the boyfriend of the girl involved in the dance addressed rumors of it being a PR stunt in an interview with Kai Cenat, denying any such intentions. Facing backlash, Jessica Ani, the girl involved, deactivated comments on social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok, due to receiving death threats.

The incident occurred during Omah Lay’s UK concert on February 20, where he invited Jessica Ani, the girlfriend of a Nigerian man, on stage during his performance of ‘Bend You.’ Videos surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) depicting an intimate dance between Omah Lay and Jessica, sparking debates and varied opinions on social media.
Some blame the girl for participating, while others criticize Omah Lay for the incident.
