D-Black blasts NPP, Akufo-Addo gov’t for the hardship and cost of living, regrets supporting them

Ghanaian rapper, Diamond Kwesi Blackmore, popularly known as D-Black, has taken to social media to express his dissatisfaction with the current state of Ghana’s economy and his regret for supporting the Akufo-Addo NPPled administration.

Black Avenue Music boss’s frustration was triggered by a throwback post from Hitz FM Ghana that showed him praising the finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, and President Nana Akufo-Addo for reducing taxes and the cost of buying spare parts.

In his posts, the “Vera” hitmaker lamented the current state of the economy and expressed his disappointment with the administration’s performance.

He also responded to fans who questioned why he and other industry personalities had been relatively quiet about the economy’s state, suggesting that it’s time for change and action.

D-Black’s outburst highlights the ongoing conversations and concerns about the economic challenges facing Ghana and the expectations citizens have from their government.
