Nigerian artist Davido, known for his chart-topping hits and dynamic performances, recently discussed his journey into fatherhood, specifically focusing on the unique experience of raising twins.
During his conversation with Billboard, Davido, whose real name is David Adedeji Adeleke, shared his deep happiness in raising twins, portraying it as “the best feeling ever.”
Despite initial skepticism from others about the challenges of raising twins, Davido expressed gratitude for the smooth journey, stating, “I remember when they came, everybody was calling like, ‘They have twins, blah, blah, blah. It’s gonna be hard.’ But, my twins are blessed. They don’t even cry. They’re just calm and they’re just growing so fast. It’s just a blessing. Thank God for everything really.”
Davido also shared his excitement about his forthcoming album, assuring fans of its release within the year.
Additionally, he hinted at an upcoming collaboration with Chris Brown, teasing fans with the prospect of new music set to drop in a matter of weeks. Furthermore, he added, “I got more music with Chris Brown coming out in about two or three weeks on his album. I’m in South Africa right now, and I’m working with a lot of Amapiano artists as well. Definitely, the album is coming.”
