The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Charlotte Osei has been verified as an eligible voter to exercise her franchise in the December 7 general elections.
Her predecessor Dr. Kwadwo Afari Gyan was not known to have voted in any of the several elections he supervised.
It is not clear if Charlotte Osei will cast her vote in the crucial elections. If she chooses to vote, would that all-important ballot go in favour of President Mahama or Akufo-Addo? Would she be enticed by the smaller parties?
Could it also be possible she will add her vote to the upsetting spoilt ballots recorded during elections?
The Electoral Commission’s Exhibition exercise for voters to check their presence on the electoral roll and the EC to also verify identities of persons it exhibited began July 18. It ends on August 7.
