“Got enough music to retire” – Wizkid says on 33rd birthday

BET award-winning Nigerian crooner, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has changed his mind that he has more than enough musical catalog to retire.

The singer, who turned 33-year-old on Sunday, July 16, 2023, had an interview with Capital Extra’s Manny Norte when this issue of his retirement was raised.

According to the host, ‘Starboy’ Wizkid once told him that he “got enough music to retire.” the last time they met.

“Come on, my brother. And we are still recording music everyday [laughs]. So, imagine how much music I have now,” he said.

The ‘Joro’ hitmaker also disclosed that his sixth studio album is on the way.

“I got a new album ready, bro. New Wiz’s album. I’m dropping a new song next week. In a couple of days, mehn,” he added
