HOT AUDIO: “I still stand by my words” – Patience Nyarko refuses to apologize to Joe Mettle

Gospel musician Patience Nyarko has refused to apologize to Joe Mettle for saying the latter samples old Pentecostal and Methodist songs.

Last Saturday, Patience Nyarko went on Onua FM’s Anigye Mmre show, hosted by Christian Agyei Frimpong, and stated that Joe Mettle is being over hyped and that he doesn’t write his own songs.

On Sunday, the “Obi Nyanime” hitmaker appeared on Hitz FM’s This is Gospel with Franky 5 show and defended her statement saying she never said anything wrong.

According to her, statements made by a fellow gospel musician OB Nartey and music promoter Alordia was disrespectful to all gospel musicians.

She said an industry cannot be built on one person’s shoulder.

For her it was disrespectful to all gospel musicians for Alordia and OB Nartey to say Joe Mettle was the only person who can take Ghana’s gospel music far.

Host of the show, Franky 5, tried several times to make Patience Nyarko apologize for her statement but the musician was adamant.

She told Franky 5 that she stood by her statement and thinks she never stepped on anyone’s toes.

She said Joe Mettle was her brother and she would greet and talk to him anytime they met.
