Ghanaian actress cum musician Kisa Gbekle is determined to making an unstoppable impact on her new music journey.
A few weeks ago, Kisa Gbekle generated a stir on social media when she shared a video on her Instagram page to announce the start of a lively dance challenge for her latest track, ‘Korkor,’
Speaking in a recent interview on YFM, Kisa addressed the criticism she has had since announcing her music career and subsequently, the release of “Korkor”.
“I don’t care about the backlash; my music journey will go on. You know I have a tough skin. Music has always been a part of me, and I’ve decided to share that part with my fans and the world. I believe in my talent, and I’m passionate about my music,” she asserted.
Kisa Gbekle disclosed that her music journey was inspired by her personal connection to music.
“I have brothers who own studios in the house, I have writers as well so I just grabbed one of them to write the song for me. And that has inspired me to take my music journey to the next level. I have had a thing for music since 2013,” she said.
“I understand that not everyone will support my music journey but I am doing this for myself and my true fans. I will continue to improve and grow as an artiste,” she stated.
Despite the backlash, Kisa Gbekle’s “Korkor” has garnered significant attention on social media platforms and music streaming services. The accompanying music video has equally gathered over 20k views on YouTube.
