I lied; I never worked as Delivery Guy in US – E.L. confesses

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper and music producer, Elorm Adabla, better recognized as E.L., has opened up about the story that he was working as a food delivery guy in the United States of America (USA) was a stunt [lie], adding that he did that to gain the attention of Ghanaians.

One can recall that speaking in a recent interview on 3FM, E.L. claimed that he ditched his celebrity status to work as a food delivery man in the States to be able to keep up with the numerous bills.

However, discussing social media stunts on HitzFM with Andy Dosty, the rapper confessed that he recently lied about rendering courier services in the US to make ends meet but was just for the trends which yielded some positive results for him. He further added that he had intentions of doing something like that but never worked as a delivery guy.

“Andy let me be very honest with you be my bro that whole thing ebi agenda we dey do. I no for do that thing but it’s one of those things. In the spur of the moment sometimes you get carried away. It was more like an attention grab and I shouldn’t have done it. It was also influenced by some people around me. I was fresh off the flight and I wanted to get something trending and it did trend,” he explained why he lied

The 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Year winner took the opportunity of the interview to apologize to his fans and loved ones for lying about his current status.
