Ghanaian musician Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah also known as Mzbel has shot down publications about her by the Daily Guide newspaper.
The Daily Guide published this week that the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang begged on behalf of Prophet Nigel Gaisie following his rape issue with Mzbel.
However, Mzbel has refuted those claims, which was repeated by Hon. Kennedy Agyapong on ‘The Seat’ show, saying they are false.
Mzbel claims she remembers saying some elderly people speaking to her about the issue but never mentioned Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang’s name.
She indicated that she has never met Prof. Opoku-Agyemang in person but admired her from afar – adding that she likes the way the woman lives her life.
Mzbel stressed that Daily Guide hates her and has not published anything good about her since her career began in 2004.
She therefore begged Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong not to rely on publications about her from Daily Guide and told the public to disregard it.
