Veteran Ghanaian rapper, William Kojo Johnson popularly known as Stay Jay revealed he wrote Ghanaian musician Atom’s first song ‘Y3 Wo Krom’ which became a household name in Africa and won HipLife Song of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The ‘Sue’ hitmaker made this revelation known in an interview with Elvis Crystal on Asaase Radio 99.5 the late-afternoon show “Rush Hour”.
According to Stay Jay he was off the music scene because he was doing more writing for other musicians in Ghana and beyond and he even wrote Atom’s hit single ‘Y3 Wo Krom’.
Recounted, Atom revealed, in 2012 Stay Jay took him to a studio for the first time, and the song they sang together Stay Jay wrote it for him and Atom has featured Stay-Jay in a song titled ‘Odo Nono’
