Bishop Ajagurajah, claiming to have observed discussions on social media, notes that while many Ghanaians express a desire to see Dumelo as president in the future, he believes Dumelo has no chance of winning the presidency based on his observations. Instead, he envisions Zanetor Rawlings, the daughter of former President JJ Rawlings, as a potential future president.
Actor John Dumelo is set to re-enter the political arena on December 7, 2024, aiming to win a parliamentary seat in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency. In his previous attempt in 2020, he narrowly lost to incumbent MP Mad. Lydia Alhassan.
