The President of Actors Guild, Nigeria, Emeka Rollas has confirmed that actor, Pope Odonwodo popularly known as Junior Pope, is alive.
Taking to Instagram, Rollas announced that Pope Odonwodo is alive and receiving treatment in the hospital.
“What God cannot do does not exist. Junior Pope is alive. He is taking treatment in the hospital,”he wrote.
Videos have also been circulating online, showing efforts to revive him. Previously, there were reports of an accident where Junior Pope and three others fell into the Anam River while on their way to a location. Unfortunately, their bodies were recovered.
However, the latest updates bring hope as Junior Pope is alive and receiving treatment.
