Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwesi Nyantakyie has dragged popular sports presenter Patrick Osei Agyemang, a.k.a Countryman Songo to court over what he claims have been defamatory remarks about him.
The GFA boss is also seeking damages against Kofi Asare Brako and the Multi Media group in claims totalling GH¢ 8 milion for what he says are “years of consistent lies and calculated negative campaigns”.
Football website GhanaSoccernet says Nyantakyie has produced at least 100 recordings of various programmes from 2012 to 2014 aired on Asempa FM which he says were calculated to defame him.
