0

Butts

For mostly every woman, looking good is a very important thing. People are no more interested in the ‘skinny girl’ look, but prefer to see women with bigger, fuller curves, which is the primary reason why so many women now join gyms and exercise programs in order to shape their body.

The butt or the hips are an extremely important part of a woman’s body, especially if they want to really look curvaceous. Women want to get bigger and wider hips, but they are unable to understand how to get them. If you are too skinny or too overweight, you will have to become dedicated and focused if you really wish to get bigger and wider hips.

If you are wondering about how to get bigger hips and have tried a number of different exercises as well, to no effect, it is important that you alter your approach. There are a whole host of different things that must be kept in mind when you try to sculpt your body, the most important of which include your dietary intake as well as the exercises that you can do. Now, you might have heard about the butt implants that many women tend to opt for. Butt implants are considered to be an easy way for most people to get their body sculpted just the way they want it, but it needs to be said that if the process isn’t done properly, these implants could cause a lot of trouble.

We all watch television, and see celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and others really setting an example for the average woman about how to sculpt their body and make it look absolutely gorgeous, and why not? That is the main reason why you need to work on your body and make it beautiful, and the butt plays a very important part for a woman.

The question however is very simple; do you really wish to inject unnatural substances in your body just to make it look good? You could get the desired effect through regular exercise and eating a proper diet, so why would you want to resort to such expensive and synthetic procedures that can even cause a lot of damage to your body if not done correctly? It’s just not worth it. If you are wondering about how to get a bigger hips and a big bum, the following article will talk about the foods that you can eat as well as the exercises that you can perform on a daily basis in order to get the butt that you desire. You want to look good wearing yoga pants, and by just following the simple processes mentioned below, you will easily be able to do just that! Here are some important tips on how to get a bigger bum and thighs:

The Diet:

You can’t make your body good looking unless you keep a check on what you are eating. Perhaps the most important thing that you need to keep in mind whenever you are looking to buy foods for yourself is to check their nutritional content. Remember, you don’t want fat deposition on any part of your body. Instead, you want to make it firm. You want a firm butt, which stays in place, but if you think that you can get that by eating lots of junk food, you are sorely mistaken. In the following few paragraphs, you will read about some of the healthiest foods that you can consume in order to make your butt bigger and wider:

Super Proteins:

Super proteins are extremely important if you want to enhance any feature of your body. The first and foremost thing that you need to know about super proteins is that they contain very little saturated fat, but instead are filled up with high amounts of quality proteins that your body requires. Now, as you might know, proteins are required by your body to build muscle, and if you are not taking in adequate amounts of proteins, you won’t be able to build appropriate amounts of muscle, regardless of how much you exercise. Now, it should also be known that the high quality muscle building foods include not only a very high biological value rating, which allows the body to easily utilize the protein found within as the configuration of the amino acids is very compatible, but they are also very easy to digest. So, which of the foods contain super proteins? Let’s check the list out:

–        Fish – You can have salmon, Tilapia and Tuna.
–        Poultry (Chicken and turkey)
–        Lean Red Meat
–        Whey
–        Beans / Legumes
–        Eggs

It should be known that merely eating these foods will not result in a bigger butt. You will have to work hard and perform the right exercises in order to get the right results. It might seem difficult at first, but if you continue to persist, your butt will eventually begin to take form.

Super Foods:

Most people have a very wrong conception about super foods. If you are researching about how to get bigger, wider hips, you are likely to come across a number of different ‘synthetic super foods’, like butt enhancing pills, etc. This article does not credit such foods, instead it focuses only on natural super foods that you can intake in order to give your body the boost that it needs. A lot of people remain under the impression that all types of carbs and fats should be avoided. Unfortunately, that is just not true. There are certain healthy fats and healthy carbs that your body requires too, and these are absolutely necessary to ensure healthy growth of muscles.

Remember, eating fat does not actually make you fat, as long as you are able to intake only healthy fats. It’s actually the sugar that makes you fat. If you intake a decent amount of healthy fats, it will actually promote fat loss, provided of course that you are able to pair them up with the right amount of exercises. Remember, if you don’t provide your body with the right amount of water, it will ultimately begin to retain more water, which ultimately leads to ‘water weight’. Now, the list of foods mentioned below are all highly rich in minerals as well as vitamins; they are also abundant in antioxidants and will help your body digest proteins in a much easier fashion, ultimately resulting in a bigger butt! If you are tired of searching for different ways on how to get bigger thighs and hips fast, integrating these foods in your diet will help significantly.

–        Mixed Nuts

Mixed nuts are healthy and very important for your body, mainly because they contain healthy, saturated fats and carbs that your body requires. Very few people actually understand the powers of incorporating mixed nuts in to their diets. Not only do they promote healthy building of muscles, but they also improve cognitive and brain functions.

–        Leafy green vegetables

Incorporating green vegetables in your diet will give you a natural dose of proteins that are needed to build muscles and enhance the shape and curve of your body. Having a proper diet that combines lean red meat with leafy green vegetables will help you significantly.

–        Tomatoes

Another very important source of natural proteins for the body, tomatoes can be eaten either naturally or with foods.

Other different foods that you can incorporate in your diet include:

–        Sweet Potatoes
–        Quinoa
–        Oatmeal
–        Berries

These are all vitally important to ensure proper growth of muscles and the burning of fat in your body. It is important to make sure that you infuse these foods in your diet, while also keeping a proper exercising schedule. Most people just think that eating these foods is enough to get the body that they want, but that is just not true. Now that you know what foods make your buttocks bigger naturally, you not only need to be focused on making sure that your body gets the right nutrients, but you also need to ensure that they are utilized in the right manner too. Here are some of the best exercises that you can perform if you wish to get a bigger butt.

The Exercises to get bigger hips fast

If you are overweight, and are just looking to ‘enhance’ your butt, you should know that is not possible. You cannot just ‘spot reduce’ so easily. You need to make sure that you carry out a range of different exercises that are designed to reduce your body’s fat deposits from all over, not just from one place. However, there are certain exercises that are focused primarily upon the waist and the butt, so performing those exercises on a regular basis will result in a much greater buildup of muscles and burning of fat from your buttocks. Here are the exercises that you need to perform:

Squats:

You already knew this, but squats are an extremely efficient way of reducing and toning your buttocks. Not only does it strengthen your buttocks, but it also impacts your thighs, making them leaner and stronger. To perform a squat, just stand straight, and set your feet apart up to the width of your shoulders. Rest your arms at your sides. Then, bend your knees and go downwards, sticking your butt out. As you do that, make sure that your arms align with your chest, and those lower abdominal muscles come in to play. Imagine as if you are trying to seat yourself on an invisible chair. You will feel a strain in your inner thighs, and your abdominal muscles. Go down until your thighs are almost parallel to the floor, and then raise yourself up by pushing your feet against the ground. Continue this exercise and try to wring out at least a 100 squats in one workout to begin with. Remember, the more you do, the greater will be the amount of fat that you will burn, or the muscle that you will generate. Squats are a great way to enhance your workout and to make yourself more powerful and enduring. If you want to add a bit more intensity to your squats, the best way would be to incorporate a dumbbell or a barbell to your squats. Hold it straight out, and then perform the squat like you normally would.

Side Lunge

A slight modification of the wildly popular lunge exercise, the side lunge is more effective as it utilizes the muscles in your hips. To start off, just consider as if you are standing in the middle of a clock, with your feet facing the 12 mark. Now, step slightly to the side, as if you are trying to get to 2. Put down the right heel on the floor, and then lower your toes as you bring down both your knees in one motion. The left foot doesn’t leave its place, and remains behind you. However, the inside of your left foot is now resting on the floor as you go downward. Then, go down as long as your right thigh becomes almost parallel to the floor. Once it reaches this position, pull yourself back up, and repeat this motion, but this time with your left foot. The more side lunges you are able to pull off, the greater will be the amount of exertion of the muscles in your butt. Incorporate these in your daily workout schedule to get a better, bigger and firmer butt in a short amount of time.

Yoga

Yoga is one of the best ways by which you can get a strong, firm butt. Compared to the average exercises, yoga is different because it requires you to stand in one pose for a longer period of time. More importantly, not only does yoga bring your muscles in to play, but it also relaxes your mind, relieving it of stress, that ultimately makes it much easier to lose fat from your body. There are a number of different yoga poses that you can try if you wish to lose weight or build muscle on your body. For instance, common yoga poses like the crow, the pigeon, the frog and the lizard are all focused upon bringing the hip muscles in to play, which ultimately results in a stronger, firmer butt. However, when you begin to start doing yoga, it is important to make sure that you don’t go for the more complicated poses right from the beginning. Yoga is not easy to pull off, and you might require a proper trainer/ teacher in order to get started. You can also search the internet in order to find out the basic poses that you can incorporate in your daily workout schedule to get a stronger butt.

Side lying leg lifts

Just lie down on one side, with the support of your arm, and then turn. Lift your leg up diagonally, upwards from the ground at an angle, so that you feel the impact on the side of your waist. Perform at least ten reps, and then move to the other side and perform the same routine. This will not only help build up a firmer butt as it uses up the muscles in your buttocks, but it will also help you get a better posture as it brings your whole sides in to play. For those who have love handles, these side lying leg lifts will also utilize those muscles and remove the fat from the body along those sides.

Important tips:

Now, you might have researched thoroughly on how to get a bigger bum fast, and it is likely that you might even have tried other methods, but to little or no avail.  These exercises and foods are all natural, and will not have any sort of harmful effect on your body. The information contained in the Butt Book is highly rated. Obviously, as is the case with any sort of natural workout plan or diet regimen, it takes a bit of time for the body to actually get in to shape, so don’t be disheartened if the results don’t become apparent to you within the first couple of weeks. It takes time for the body to acclimatize to the new routine. Make sure you stick to the habit of working out and just incorporate these exercises in to your daily schedule, and you will soon begin to see a major change in your whole body, including your butt.

Stars failure and cash fueled scandals breed apathy

0

black stars

This is not how it was meant to be. For long we have loved and cherished the Black Stars, our emotions dictated by their actions and inaction.

It seems those days are long gone and when Andre Ayew spoke up about fans abandoning them in the build up to their Nations Cup qualifier in Mauritius last week, there would have been a lot of people screaming good riddance at that.

Luanda in 2010, Bata on a hot February afternoon in 2012.  That miserable day in Nelspruit when Bance and Burkina Faso left many angry and frustrated. And then Baba again in January last year. The story of the Black Stars has been a tale of stumbling from one failure to another. The frustration for many Ghanaian fans is that the failure has often been rewarded with more money for the principal actors, very few lessons learnt and even more money in a bid to correct that.

Up to some point, people bought into that thinking. Give them whatever they want and they would deliver the famous trophy. Events of crazy summer in Brazil proved that is false thinking. It proved that more money was only more likely to diminish the hunger and kill the fight. It also became the moment many Ghanaian football fans realised that what they had been doing all along was to will a group of ‘workers’ intent on making hay while the sun shines on. It was the moment many Ghanaian football fans discovered that maybe it was never about the famous Black Stars, national pride. It was work, ensuring a better future, better pay cheques. So the fans decided they had their work to concentrate on.

There was a poignant Facebook post after yet another qualification to the Nations Cup in Mauritius on Sunday. The Black Stars had sealed a seventh straight passage to the biggest football tournament on the continent. In fairness no one expected scenes of jubilation in Accra but neither would you have expected the stone cold attitude.

If the players who spend a fair bit of time on social media chance on that thread, they would be heart broken. The message from many of the fans was simple; players have prioritised money and made that absolutely clear. The fans say they are simply doing the same so they would rather concentrate on what earns them money themselves rather than will a group of players on to make even more money.

“They are doing their business in order to cater for their families and we are also doing our business to cater for our families too so why should we think or support their business”, one fan wrote on a Joy FM thread.

Another fan said: “So many years down the line, no nation’s cup glory, yet government uses tax payers money to pay $8.000 as winning bonuses to each Black stars player, People sleep in dumsor!! .No potable water for some people to drink. Accra sports stadium is in a deplorable state and no one cares. Are we insane as a nation?

The players are adamant that is not the case. It is the one subject that seems to fire up the passion in players more than anything when you interview them. Mubarak Wakaso recently said ‘even if we are paid $5 we would play’. Others have suggested it is ridiculous to even question their commitment. But they have also always added the caveat that they must be comfortable.

No one would ever deny that but as the build up to another Nations Cup begins, there would be many who would be asking themselves a simple question. Would this be another money making tool for a selected, privileged few even if they fail? Would it be another case of emotional heartache for many fans and enhanced bank balances for a few pampered souls?

The problem for the Black Stars is that far too often, deeds have not matched their nationalistic rhetoric. There have been too many squabbling over money and no trophies to show for that. One moment they don’t like hotel B but prefer hotel A.

It has simply made people wary. It has been tiring even for those who spend a considerable time around the players. And it is a good thing the players are noticing it.

“This past one and a half years, it’s been difficult between the Black Stars and fans, to be honest,” Dede said in the build up to the Mauritius game.  “For me as a leader and with other leaders and my colleagues, it’s very painful. When we played against Mozambique, the stadium wasn’t full but when Hearts of Oak played Kotoko, I was in France but I saw the stadium was full – it’s painful.”

The fans are speaking with the only voice they have which is their support. They don’t earn thousands for it, they don’t get cars for failing, they don’t get five star accommodation for doing what they claim to love. They are just back with their emotion. Now they are demanding that in return.

It didn’t take long after qualification for Nations Cup before coach Avram Grant and his players were saying something we would hear a lot of in the months leading up to the tournament in Gabon.

Asked if winning would be the main target, Grant said: “Of course. We know that it is a lot of team’s ambition to win, but we did so well in the last African Cup, we deserved the cup, we were better in the final, we didn’t take it because of penalties.”

Stand-in captain Dede Ayew has played in four of the last six Afcons and endured the pain of losing in two finals reckons the preparation for Gabon must start now.

“It is a great victory for us, we needed this victory so that we can seal our qualification to the AFCON, now we have made it,” Dede said.

“Six months to the tournament and we need to prepare in advance and be ready for this tournament which is an important one to us.

“These six months to the tournament, we are not going to talk too much, I think what is important is the preparation, if you want to do something in a tournament, you need to prepare well.

“People are going to go back to pre-season, they are going to have long six months, there can be injuries, there can be so many things in six months so we need to be calm, prepare ourselves mentally, physically because this tournament a very important tournament for us.”

Mubarak Wakaso had declared before the trip to Mauritius that the Nations Cup trophy is all Ghana wants and that the players are more than determined to win it.

We have heard it so many times. If there is anything consistent about the Black Stars, it is that the promises have been consistent. Often they look like they would back it but five semi finals and two losses in the final prove they seem to choke at the most crucial stage.

First the fans thought it was ok. Now they seem not to. If the Black Stars remain consistent with that trend, Ayew would be wailing even more about the lack of fans. In the present state of affairs it won’t be the worst thing to have happened to Ghana football.

Waste management, a scar from June 3 and secrets of The 3 Foundation

0

HughesOne key feature of the city during this rainy season is not just flooding but the huge chunk of waste that hinders smooth flow of the floods across the city.

Accra generates about 2,000 tonns per day from the estimated population of 4,010,054 (2010 census) . It costs the AMA, for instance, over GHS 10 million each month. In 2008, AMA spent 82% of its funds on solid waste management.

A common observation in developing cities worldwide is that they are unable to achieve satisfactory result despite spending most of the municipal funds on waste management. These cities generally suffer from a lack of infrastructure to handling increases in waste generation, resulting in incomplete waste collection. However, that is not the reason hindering the progress towards achieving complete waste collection coverage in Accra. The major reasons are a lack of or late payments and a mechanism to monitor performance of private contractors.

Tonight, Community Connect looks at two issues, the state of waste in our city and how we are managing it.

Are we working to manage this waste?  Are you creating waste or minimizing waste? How are we effecting change?

On the Show we hear from a victim of the June 3rd disaster wearing her scars, one year on. What scars do you have from that disaster?

There would also be a special feature on The 3 Foundation tonight. We explore what the MG Groups have up it’s their sleeves.

Black Stars

The Black Stars have set their sights on AFCON glory moments after clinching their place at the Nations Cup on Sunday.

Andre Ayew and Christian Atsu got on the end of two Baba Rahman set ups to complete qualification for the 2017 Nations Cup with a routine 2-0 win over Mauritius, the seventh consecutive time the Black Stars have reached the competition since 2006.

Ghana’s place at next year’s event was never in doubt particularly in a group with Mauritius, Rwanda and Mozambique. The Black Stars have won four of their five games and drawn one, scoring thirteen goals in the process while letting in only two.

With qualification out of the way, Grant is clear in his mind about what the next target should be. Asked if winning would be the main target, Grant said: “Of course. Exhibit vision and discipline to succeed – entrepreneurs urged

0

Rev OrdonkorThe Chief Executive Officer of Capital Bank Ghana, Rev. Fitzgerald Odonkor, has urged entrepreneurs to be visionary, disciplined, have strong networking skills to succeed in business.

Speaking at the maiden edition of the ‘Idea Factory Africa Conference’ organized by Ideas for Future Africa, Rev. Odonkor, said though resources play an integral part in entrepreneurial success, the lack of qualities such as sound vision and detail plan will render the resources useless.

According to the versatile banker, though many entrepreneurs have been able to source for funding for various projects, these projects have collapsed as a result of the lack of qualities like discipline and tenacity.

The presentation focused on topics such as starting a business – pertinent issues to be considered, primary issues needed to evaluate an idea and issues related to funding and business growth .

On starting a business, the Capital Bank CEO said one needs to be tenacious to weather the psychological and social pressures usually exerted by friends and family.

“Sometimes friends and family will pressurize you to abandon your dreams and seek regular jobs especially at the initial stages when things are a bit difficult.

He underscored the need for entrepreneurs “to be focused and strong-willed to withstand these pressures because entrepreneurship is about vision and conviction”

Rev. Odonkor stated that it is important for individuals to critically evaluate their ideas and concepts to determine their viability by asking critical questions.

He added that the issue of financial resources should only be considered at the second layer of the idea generation or concept development stage.

He continued saying: “After having the ‘eureka moment’ there is the need to acid test the concept and implementation by asking and documenting answers to key questions. These key questions should form the basis for a sound business plan.”

Other speakers at the event were Dr. Joyce Aryee; Ruka Sanusi, a management and business consultant with over 20 years of international consulting experience in the UK and 20 African countries and His Excellency Girmay Haile, UNAID Country Coordinator to Ghana.

Desailly tips England to ‘surprise’ at Euros

0

Marcel Desailly

France legend Marcel Desailly reckons England could end their long trophy-less run at Euro 2016 because there is less pressure on them now.

Desailly, a world and European champion with France, told 3FM 92.7 that Roy Hodgson’s men could benefit from the presence of many young players who feel no pressure.

“England are really going to be the surprise. They qualified quiet easily in their group, nobody is expecting them really and they have these young players who doesn’t really feel the pressure because they don’t have any responsibility, they are not yet top class players who have heavy pressure on their shoulders so I do believe that England will surprise everyone,” he told 3FM 92.7

“Then you have the obvious one Belgium. We are expecting them because when you look at their team individually they have a huge squad, amazing squad. The problem is that, is it going to work collectively at the same time for the tournament to go and win? I am not sure.”

Desailly is not so sure about France this year but is hopeful they would become a major force in future.

He said: “We are expecting now that with Deschamps and new leaders like Varane, Pogba and Greizmann who is responsible for the offensive animation of the France team. It looks like these guys are stable players, not yet confirmed in their clubs. They are doing well but not really leaders in their clubs but we are hoping that they are trying to build up.

I hope they win the Euro in France but we need to think about them for the future. France can follow the example of Germany in 2008 when they lost the Euro to Spain but everyone knew they will be a top team in the future.”
