Media giant, Despite Media, owners of Peace FM, Okay FM, Neat FM and UTV is set to lose two of its presenters to politics.
The two are Adakabre Frimpong Manso, who is the host of “Me Man Nti” on Neat FM and Kwabena Marfo, a newscaster.
Adakabre has been chosen as the running mate of Madam Mary Akua Donkor of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) who was cleared by the Electoral Commission to contest the 2020 general elections.
Kwabena Marfo, who hails from Cape Coast is also contesting as an independent candidate in the Cape Coast North constituency.
According to reports, he decided to contest because the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the area, Kwamina Mintah Nyarku, is creating more problems for the party.
A close source revealed that Kwabena Marfo has already submitted his nomination form to the Electoral Commission.
As it demands, Adakabre and Kwabena Marfo would have to resign from Despite Media to do their politics.
