Bernard Antwi Boasiako, who is the chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region, has said that the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang was mentored by Dr UN.
Chairman Wontumi as he is popularly known said he believes the woman cannot speak good English in public and wonders if she got her Professor title from Dr UN.
According to him, he carefully watched the launch of the NDC and could emphatically state that Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, was struggling with the Queen’s language.
“I am better than her and I am sure Dr. UN awarded her with the Professorship,” he said.
He made the statement in a discussion on Wontumi morning show on Tuesday.
Last week, Kwame Fordjour, also known as Dr UN in the name of Kofi Annan and United Nations (UN), presented awards to some celebrities in Ghana including Sarkodie, Berla Mundi, Nathaniel Attoh, D Black, Captain Smart, among others.
It later emerged that the award and certificates were fake which made social media users troll the recipients.
