Renowned sound engineer, Kwame Yeboah joins Grammy’s Recording Academy

Multi-instrumentalist of international reputation, Kwame Yeboah, is the latest Ghanaian musician to join the Recording Academy of the Grammy Awards.

His announcement comes a few days after popular Ghanaian gospel musician MOGMusic also revealed his invitation that he had joined the Recording Academy.

Other Ghanaian musicians who have been part of the Recording Academy are Rocky Dawuni, Stonebwoy and Wiyaala.

In an Instagram post, the legendary sound engineer said he was honoured to be joining the academy and that he looked forward to serving and celebrating music in all its creative forms. He also thanked his supporters for their encouragement.

“I am honored to be a Member of this year’s @recordingacademy.

I’ll be joining an amazing team of professional Musicians, Artists and Creators to serve and celebrate music in all its creative forms.

Thank you for your support and looking forward to contributing to this new opportunity,” Kwame wrote on his Instagram page.

Kwame Yeboah is a Ghanaian musician, guitarist, keyboardist, producer, and recording- engineer.

The owner of the Ohia Beyeya Band has worked with world-class artistes such as Stevie Wonder, Shaggy and Ms Dynamite.

In Ghana, he has worked with Kojo Antwi, Becca, Osibisa among others.
