Sarkodie Has Apologized To Yvonne Nelson – Mr. Logic

Chairman of Song Writers Association Ghana, Mr. Logic has concluded that, from the recent Sarkodie interview, the rapper has indeed apologized to Yvonne Nelson. Mr. Logic made this statement during UTV’s United Showbiz show over the weekend.

In what has become the only interview rapper Sarkodie has granted regarding the Yvonne Nelson brouhaha, Mr. Logic has concluded that Sarkodie will not grant any other interview to talk about the issue in such detail. And that, what he said on the Way Up show is all that he will say regarding the issue.

During Sarkodie’s interview with Angela Yee, he stated that he would not wholeheartedly say he was proud of his actions and reaction while dealing with the “blemish” brought on by Yvonne Nelson in her latest book.

“So with this situation, I won’t sit here and say am super proud about everything. But then in the moment, it was how I felt whether being my truth, there should have been a way you could have said it. That is why I do not like to speak about it. Because it is a conversation between two people but then we could have a conversation if you want to talk about it, because it involves me as well.”

From Mr. Logic’s perspective, Sarkodie is very inconsistent. In that, if the rapper feels he is not super proud of his choice of words and response to Yvonne Nelson, he should come out to officially apologize.

“An artiste of Sarkodie’s stature cannot record a song and say he is not proud of it”. Mr. Logic claims that Sarkodie was giving the interviewer answers she wanted to hear.

“Sarkodie should own up to what went wrong during his response to Yvonne Nelson.” Regarding Sarkodie saying that he sneaked into the studio and his team was unaware of his actions, Mr. Logic considers it a blunder from an artiste of Sarkodie’s caliber. Sarkodie is too big an artiste to give out such trivial information.

Mr. Logic continued to debunk Sarkodie’s statement that the “Try Me” song leaked. He stated that he’s been in the music industry long enough to know when a track is actually leaked or not.

A snippet of the interview is below.

Mr. Logic accused Sarkodie of being immature about his response. He asked that Sarkodie should apologize to womanhood officially. He continued that, if Sarkodie had come out to say he is sorry, all this back and forth would have ceased.
