Award-winning Gospel musician Sonnie Badu has agreed to sponsor the education of the children of the late Pastor Kwaku Apraku.
Pastor Apraku was found dead in his room on Wednesday, May 20 after a video of him drunk and looking disheveled circulated on social media.
Sonnie Badu was moved by the video when he saw it on Tuesday and had offered to help the man popularly known as “Apraku my daughter,” get back on his feet. According to him, Pastor Apraku was still God’s asset.
However, that was not to be as Pastor Apraku died the following day.
To prove he was true to his word, the UK-based musician funded the ambulance and mortuary services for the clergy man.
The family of Pastor Apraku had pleaded with Sonnie Badu in a video to help his children get better education.
And he has accepted to do so asking his assistants to take details of the children.
Dr Sonnie Badu also called on anyone who wished to join him in supporting the family of the late preacher to do so.
