The wife of ace Kumawood actor, Nana Kofi Osei (Wayosi) has debunked rumours in the social media that her husband has passed away.
Social media was awash with suggestions that the popular midget actor was dead.
But the wife, Evelyn Owusu (Maame Abena) told Onua FM’s Yen Sempa Wednesday morning that though the husband is on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, he is still alive.
Wayosi is however in a critical condition and has been in the hospital for about a week now.
Earlier pictures of the actor from the hospital reveal the actor had over-bloated body.
But his wife, Evelyn Owusu explained that those who are wishing his husband dead are rather going to die because she believes God is alive to save her husband.
Maame Abena expressed optimistic that her husband would be out of the hospital by next week Monday.
Asked what led to the husband’s condition, Maame Abena said doctors at the KATH told them he was swelling due to the drips that were given to him when he was rushed there. She however said the husband has since reduced in size.
A younger brother of Wayosi, Isaac Kwaku Mensah (Osikanee) also added that his brother is alive and dared those who doubt to verify from KATH.
He said his brother felt weak and feverish that was why they took him to the hospital.
