Multiple award-winning Ghanaian “petit” actor, Yaw Dabo is calling on Ghanaians to show him their unwavering support as he prepares to embark on a new world record for the longest kissing marathon.
The talented Kumawood actor who is also the owner of Dabo Football Academy stated that his kissing marathon will set a new Guinness World Record, as he is set to engage in non-stop kissing for a remarkable 30 days, equivalent to a staggering 720 hours.
He acknowledged that, amidst the singing and cooking endeavours pursued by Ghanaian media personality Afua Asantewaa, who recently did a sing-a-thon recording over 127 hours, and Chef Failatu Abdul Razak who is still attempting to break the 119 hours 57 mins cook-a-thon respectively, the kissing marathon is the only record he is willing to attempt.
He made these revelations during a visit to Faila Abdul Razak’s cooking venue to offer encouragement, which is happening at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale.
Dabo engaged in a conversation with reporters from Multimedia, particularly Joy Prime and Adom TV, where he shared these noteworthy statements.
He also called on the general public, including celebrities and politicians, to show their support for Chef Faila as they did for Afua Asantewaa during her attempt to break the Guinness World Record sing-a-thon in Accra
“Our sister is doing a cooking marathon, it is not easy to cook for five days. I am a cook and I know how to cook but I can’t do it. So I am happy for what our sister [Chef Faila] is doing so let’s appreciate her.
“I want everybody across the 16 regions of Ghana to be here to support her. As celebrities and everyone showed up in Accra, let’s do the same for our sister to encourage her to break the record.” Dabo stated
