Stanbic Bank Ghana has launched a banking service aimed at improving the life of middle-class customers earning a regular salary.

Dubbed ‘Achiever Banking,’ the service is a platinum-valued proposition targeting the middle class market to meet the needs of the success driven young professionals.

The Head of Personal Markets at Stanbic Bank, Mrs Hannah Annobil-Acquah, said the Achiever Banking value proposition is designed for anyone who earns a regular income from GH¢ 700.00 to GH¢3499.00.

She said the service was developed based on feedback received during interactions with customers of the bank.

“Before we came out with the proposition, we met a group of customers and asked what they wanted their bank to do for them,” she said.

“We have the Achiever Pass which is your current account and your debit card and the Achiever Life which is the insurance component.”

She further elaborated on some of the benefits of the Achiever Pass package: in the face of job losses, accidents and hospitalisation.

The Achiever Life package, she explained, is a retrenchment cover which offers customers GH¢1,000 a month for three months in the event that they lose jobs.

She added that there is a 10 per cent discount on Motor Insurance as well as the Hospital Cash Cover of GH¢100 for 180 days in case of hospitalisation after an accident.
