Chief of Akuapem, Nana Djan Otobour Kwasi II has invited actress Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo to a meeting at the Okuapehene’s palace on July 30, 2020 at 10:00 am.
Akuapem Poloo was invited after a standing meeting of the Akuapem Traditional Council on July 17, 2020.
According to the Council, the decision to invite Akuapem Poloo is for her to explain the circumstances that led to her nude photo with son.
The Council stated that the invitation is not an attempt to intimidate the actress and further deepen her troubles.
The Council indicated that Akuapem Poloo’s explanation will better inform them on the next step to take including counseling by queenmothers and how she can use her talent and fame to uplift the image of Akuapem and its people.
A few weeks ago, Akuapem Poloo posted a photo of herself nude squatting in front of her son, who was wearing only underwear as she marked his seventh birthday.
She was later invited by the police CID for questioning after reports from Child Rights International (CRI) but failed to honor the invitation.
A few days later, she was picked up by the police.
