The authorities in the US state of Louisiana say three police officers have been shot in Baton Rouge, local media are reporting.
The circumstances of the shootings were not immediately clear.
It follows the recent killing of a black man by police in the city, which led to protests around the US.
That, and another police shooting in Minnesota, triggered a revenge attack by a black army veteran who shot dead five officers in the city of Dallas.
