Black Sherif finally Speaks after Alleged Arrest

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif, has broken his silence after he was allegedly arrested at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on Wednesday evening, July 19, 2023.

The “Second Sermon” hitmaker was reportedly arrested at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) over a contractual breach regarding a July 4 show that he failed to honor in Greece.

Black Sherif was allegedly booked to perform on a cruise ship in Greece, for which he allegedly demanded US$40,000 and was paid half [US$20,000] of that amount to record a video confirming his participation at the event.

According to reports, a firm called Cruise People Limited reported Blacko and was picked up at the airport after being placed on the stop list.

However, the 21-year-old artiste, real name Mohammed Ismail Sherif has ignored the alleged controversy around but took to his Twitter to announce his forthcoming show at the University of Ghana.

“I’m coming to Pent Tomorrow. If you are not feeling well don’t come in front, enjoy the show from the wings or wherever the madness isn’t extreme. See you there

he wrote.
