Black Sherif secures a nomination at the 55th NAACP Awards

VGMA Artiste of the Year, Black Sherif, has secured a nomination in the Best Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration category at the 55th NAACP Awards, set to take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
Alongside collaborators Dreamville’s American rapper, Bas, and Nigerian producer/singer, Kel-P, they earned the nomination for their contribution to the Creed III soundtrack, a 2023 American sports drama directed by Michael B. Jordan.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on BET and CBS at 8:00 PM ET/PT on March 16, 2024. The NAACP Image Awards annually honors outstanding performances in film, television, theatre, music, and literature, emphasizing black legacy and excellence.

Notable African nominees include Burna Boy, Davido, Tems, Asake, Libianca, Black Sherif, Lojay, Omah Lay, Ayra Starr, Ayo Edebiri, John Boyega, Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Daniel Kaluuya, and Lola Akinmade Åkerström.
