Popular broadcast journalist, Godsbrain Kwadwo Smart well known as Captain Smart has revealed the biggest mistake he has ever made in life.
The Angel FM morning show host disclosed that inviting his parents to his wedding but not involving them in the marriage led to its collapse.
Speaking on his show “Anopa Bofour” on Angel FM, Captain Smart explained that before his first marriage, his father called to ask if he was getting married because he had seen an invitation card circulating and he answered in the affirmative.
He said when the time was due, he called his parents to just accompany him to get married adding that he had no issues with them.
According to him, his parents were bitter about the situation and even asked why he did not give them a hint after the marriage failed.
When it came to his current marriage, Captain Smart said he made his parents take the lead and they arranged everything.
He indicated that before the marriage, his parents took time to resolve all their issues and he brought in his uncles and the entire family.
Captain Smart stated that how he feels like a human being when he goes home unlike those days when he had a big house but felt empty inside.
He said he had learned a big lesson from it and urged everyone to involve their parents in their relationships.
Captain Smart married US-based Ghanaian Afia Pokuaa and divorced her in November 2018.
Reports say Afia Pokuaa was already married but ditched her husband after she met Captain Smart.
