Actress Jessica Williams had been told of her striking resemblance to the wife of actor Adjetey Anang, Elom Anang and subsequently seen pictures to confirm it.
But last Saturday, July 8, was a “moment of judgement” for the actress when she met Elom for the first time at actor Adjetey Anang’s memoir launch.
She was wowed by Elom’s looks and for a moment, lost for words seeing a spitting image of her. Jessica and Elom took a picture and the latter posted it on her Instagram.
The said picture went viral with many questioning if they were twins or related in anyway.
According to the actress, she had been mistaken for Elom Anang on a number of occasions at public gatherings.
Although, Elom has been her friend for some time now, the first time she met her was at her husband, Adjetey Anang’s book launch last Saturday July 8, 2023 and they could easily pass for twins because of the resemblance. Again, when she posted the picture of the two of them, a lot of people commented that they look so much alike.
She added that she has been to places where her name was actually mentioned as Elom and she had to explain that she’s not Adjetey Anang’s wife but Jessica the actress. However, there’s never been a time that she had felt uncomfortable about it or faulted anyone because she know she’s a spitting image of her.
