Multiple award-winning Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Davido, achieves a monumental feat as he secures his first ever entry on the prestigious US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The milestone is attributed to his recent collaboration with R&B artist Chris Brown in the chart-topping track “Sensational.”
Making its debut at number 96 on the Billboard Hot 100, “Sensational” showcases Davido’s global impact.
The song had previously dominated the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, claiming the top spot for three consecutive weeks.
Notably, this achievement also marks the first entry for another talented Nigerian artist, Lojay.
Despite enjoying international acclaim for several years, Davido’s inaugural appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 is a significant recognition of his influence.
