Despite Media and Hitz FM are why Ghanaians don’t love me – Shatta Wale

Acclaimed reggae dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, whose real name is Charles Nii Armah Mensah, in a recent interview on 3Music TV, pointed fingers at Despite Media, owned by Osei Kwame Despite, and its affiliated entities, including Peace FM and UTV.
He alleged that these media outlets, in collaboration with Hitz FM, have played a role in influencing public opinion against him.

According to Shatta Wale, a significant portion of the Ghanaian population has been led to believe that he is a bad and disrespectful person due to a concerted effort by these media organizations. Despite the overwhelming support he receives from fans during his shows, he expressed bewilderment at the contrasting narrative on social media platforms, where criticism towards him is more pronounced.

This is not the first time Shatta Wale has found himself in conflicts with media houses and fellow artists. Some observers believe that his provocative and controversial antics may have contributed to both his success and the ongoing feuds with various segments of the entertainment industry.
Despite the challenges, Shatta Wale continues to enjoy a devoted fan base and remains a prominent figure in the Ghanaian music scene.
