Eno Barony schools female musicians on what to do if they want to be on the same level as the men

Talented Ghanaian female rapper, Eno Barony has given a tip to her colleagues on what they ought to do if they want to bridge the gap between them and their male counterparts.

She admitted that the music industry is a male-dominated field but all hope is not lost for women.

The rap goddess believes hard work has accounted to her success in the industry.

“I believe it is hard work that got me to this level. I feel it is good as it is going pave way for the upcoming female rappers and to make them believe that they can also make it regardless of the industry being male-dominated,” she told GNA Entertainment in an interview.

She called on her colleagues to support themselves in order to reach the level of their male counterparts.

“We need to put more efforts into our music if we want to be on the same level as men and to also get equal treatment. We do support each other to some extent but comparing it to the guys I think there is more to be done,” she said.

Eno Barony mentioned Abrewa Nana, Missy Elliot and Sarkodie as the people who inspired her to venture into rap music.
