Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney, popularly known as DKB, has announced his decision to quit comedy.
In a post on Twitter, DKB registered his displeasure about how many people insult him all in the name of comedy.
He stated that his mental health is important, so he wants to call it a quit.
“I’m RETIRING from comedy. I’m tired. Enough of negativity & disrespect, I didn’t kill anyone, I just make people laugh, so why the insults in return?
“My mental health is important to me. So-called fans also don’t show love publicly. I’ve lifted Ghana comedy, done my part,” he wrote.
A section of Ghanaian social media users are questioning whether he meant it or his post was just a joke.
