New internet sensation, AY Poyoo breaks barriers after Shatta Bundle
New internet sensation AY Poyoo is breaking barriers with his comedy skits and has been enjoying popular acclaim in the last two weeks.
The hilarious rapper, who calls himself ‘the new face of Ghana rap,’ is climbing up the trends on social media; in the last few days he has acquired over 3,000 followers on Twitter and has already gotten interview slots on both GHOne TV and Joy News.
In an interview on Joy News on his rise to fame and way forward AY Poyoo thanked his team for a great job done.
He noted that the team is highly motivated by the fact that people keep calling to either endorse or sponsor his skits.
“It is a whole lot of team work, and management has to look at the other side and see how it will go,” he said.
“But we just started it and people are getting interested in what we are doing. We also have people calling about endorsements, sponsorships, and other things. So right now, we have been getting a little from this,” he added.
AY Poyoo is hopeful the fight against COVID-19, which has already affected over 5,000 people and killed 22 others in Ghana will soon be won so life becomes normal again.
“We are praying the coronavirus disappears soon so that we can see how things will go,” he told Joy News.
Twitter has also taken note of the new sensation as he was trending at number one at the time of filing this report.
