Fast-rising Ghanaian highlife musician, Fameye has revealed why he stopped going to church.
Fameye, who appeared on UTV’s ‘Atuu’ program, divulged how an action by some women at his church forced him to quit the church.
“I don’t go to church but I pray a lot…I stopped going to church after my hairstyle was constantly criticized…some women in the church always complained about my hairstyle and the way I wear earrings. I got tired of the criticisms so I stopped attending church,” he stated.
The host of the show, Abeiku Santana upon hearing his story invited him to join him at his church where nobody will care about the way he dresses.
Fameye was crowned as the Best New Artiste of the Year at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
