Veteran Ghanaian actress, Belinda Naa Ode Oku, widely recognized as Adwoa Smart is set to bestow a remarkable honor at the 2023 edition of the Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA).
According to Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ASKOF Productions, not much attention has been paid to Adwoa Smart despite her distinctive talent and unforgettable contributions to the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
The honorary award is therefore in recognition of her immense contribution to the space, specifically the Ghana movie industry.
The 6th edition of the awards ceremony will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Accra on Sunday, September 10.
The humanitarian awards scheme aims at celebrating and recognizing the efforts of distinguished women who have stood out in their respective fields of endeavours in the year under review.
