I had a rude shock of my life today. Today was my third time interacting with him but I have been observing him from a distance for a while now till we finally met again today, don’t ask me of his name.

He loves me, He wants to marry me. He has been following me on social media and he likes what i do in my constituency and thinks he can compliment my efforts and believes we will make the best couple in town.

Awww… you’re smiling. Wait till you hear the rest of this love story.

You are the ideal woman I want to spend the rest of my life with, but I don’t like the political party you belong to,” he said, just when I said bye to leave his office.

He’s not comfortable about that and therefore does not think we can have a relationship and move on together as a husband and a wife.

Ever since he told me about his reasons to hold back, I’ve been “thinking far paa oo.” I’ve been wondering if this should really be an issue. Must politics divide or unite us as Ghanaians? Is there no life beyond politics?
