Renowned media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah, boldly asserted that she is an opportunist.
During an interview on 3Music TV, Nana Aba recalled her time as a young newsreader at TV3, saying “I like to use people, positively,” she declared, shedding light on her distinctive perspective within the professional landscape. This approach became evident during her tenure as a young newsreader at TV3, where she firmly resisted being assigned mundane tasks such as fetching food.

Intriguingly, Nana Aba revealed, “And if you realize that I am going to buy something for somebody then it means that I’ve found an opportunity and I’m very opportunistic.” She narrated instances of deliberate interactions, particularly with individuals like Emma Morrison, expressing her ambitious desire to surpass and occupy roles that resonated with her goals.

“For instance, somebody like Emma Morrison. Emma had something that I loved and it was always my ambition that I want to be better than Emma. I want to take up Emma’s slot.” She narrated adding that she would always go and ask Emma if she needed anything or if she was hungry.

“It was deliberate, I was being an opportunist,” she said.

She extended her advice to senior staff, instead of subjecting young professionals to servitude, she advocated for active contributions to their growth, nurturing their careers and talents.
