I am not gay, I hate the LGBTQ Community with Passion – Lawyer Maurice Ampaw

Private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw vehemently denies claims that he is a homosexual, attributing the suggestion to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) aiming for political advantage.
In an interview on Kasapa FM, Ampaw, when questioned about his stance on LGBTQ matters, emphasized his heterosexual experiences, stating, “I have slept with over 100 women and fathered at least five kids,” firmly asserting that this contradicts any assertion of him being gay. When confronted about NDC members labeling him as gay, he expressed his strong disapproval: “I hate them (LGBTQ community) with passion.Although NDC members have labelled me gay.”

In response to the presenter’s direct question about his sexual orientation, Ampaw challenges with a rhetorical question: “Despite having been with numerous women in this country, how can I identify as gay?” Emphasizing his family life, he details, “Secondly, I have fathered almost 5 or 6 kids,” highlighting the recent birth of twins from his wife.

“I’m not an animal. I love women, not men,” reiterating his heterosexual identity in the face of the accusations.
