UK-based Ghanaian musician, Stephanie Benson has said she doesn’t give a hoot about what others think about her.
Stephanie told DJ Advicer in a phone interview on Happy FM’s ‘Ayekoo’ After-Drive show that being seductive is part of her and she very comfortable doing what she does best.
The Queen of Jazz, as she is affectionately called indicated that she has worked hard to reach where she is now, so how people will regard her is not something she thinks about.
“I don’t have to tell you what I’ve done, who I’ve been with or where I’ve worked for you to respect me. If you wanna respect me, respect me. If you don’t, I don’t care. You can talk as much as you want but it doesn’t affect me. I think being seductive is a part of who I am. It’s always been a part of my act for a very long time,” she stated.
The ‘One More’ composer further clarified that she has never been a stripper before.
“I’ve never stripped before. There’s nothing wrong with strippers but I’ve never stripped before. Why would I have to strip?” Stephanie Benson reacted after the host asked whether she has been a stripper before or not.
