KwasiAboagyeLive.com reported yesterday that popular Gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong was involved in an accident with his female lead singer, Tiwaa.
Speaking from the accident scene in a video sighted by us, the manager of Yaw Sarpong, Nana Poku Ashis said the accident happened at Juaso-Nkwanta on the Accra-Kumasi highway.
He indicated that Yaw Sarpong went to Kumasi yesterday for a family meeting and unfortunately had the accident on his way back to Accra.
According to him, their vehicle had tried to prevent a head on collision with a car which had overtaken another car and in their attempt to swerve, they went off the road and landed on top of a heap sand.
Nana Poku Ashes said Yaw Sarpong’s Tundra somersaulted in the process.
He disclosed that Yaw Sarpong and Tiwaa were fine but had minor injuries and they are currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
He said Yaw Sarpong was not the one driving but it was his driver behind the wheel.
