Popular Ghanaian Gospel musician, Cwesi Oteng has argued that there is nothing wrong for a Christian to do secular music.
He told Zionfelix in a recent interview that someone can be a good Christian and still compose secular songs.
The ‘God Dey Bless Me’ singer recalled an encounter he had with a lady who was a dancehall musician at his church.
Cwesi, who is also a Pastor, stated that he was ready to mentor this lady without any vilification on what she does as a dancehall musician.
To him, the lady can do dancehall in the right way through his mentorship.
He noted that most secular musicians who are forced to do Gospel music do not stand the test of time.
Cwesi Oteng cited the impact Justin Bieber is making after he repented to accept Jesus Christ, even though he is still doing secular music.
