Award-winning Ghanaian afrobeats star Kelvin Brown, popularly known as Kelvyn Boy, has disclosed that he no longer smokes.
Recall that, ‘Vero’ hitmaker received a lot of flak for smoking in his live videos, made the statement while addressing the challenging stereotypes about smoking.
Taking to X (formerly twitter), he dispels the misconception that all smokers are inherently dirty and rowdy, emphasizing that some of the wealthiest and cleanest individuals he knows are heavy smokers.
“Smokers are dirty and rowdy… maybe then, but I know some of the richest and cleanest humans who are heavy smokers. Dead that thought today.”
Indicating that he used to smoke himself but has since quit, he encourages his followers to discard such judgments and reconsiders their perceptions and also cautioned them against the use of drugs.
“Your favorite artiste smokes for crying out loud. But I’ve quit. Don’t do drugs, guys.”
