Renowned broadcaster, Kwame Obimpeh Nartey, affectionately called OB Nartey has filed his nomination to contest the Adenta constituency Parliamentary seat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Followed by hundreds of party faithfuls of the Constituency he filed his nomination yesterday, August 10 amidst dancing and drumming.
OB Nartey was received by Mr.Ebenezer Nyedu Bediako, Secretary of the Adentan Constituency at the party’s constituency office.
Mr.Bediako expressed his appreciation to OB Nartey for picking and submitting his nomination.
He commended OB Nartey for distinguishing himself and conducting campaign devoid of malice.
The secretary said unity was key in presenting a strong front to win the seat from the NDC.
OB Nartey on his part thanked the executives of the constituency for their warm reception and guidance.
According him as a delegate who has impacted the constituency over the years, he saw the need to take up the mantle to unify the front to help wrestle the seat from the National Democratic Congress.
He said by far, he can proudly say, he is the most distinguished delegate amongst the aspirants.
He assured the leadership of the party that he is not contesting because everyone was, but to make a difference and fortify the NPP in the constituency.
OB Nartey also pledged to prioritise the welfare of the delegates and infrastructural development of Adenta constituency.
He called on all and sundry to support his bid to improve the life and well-being of the inhabitants of Adenta.
