Menzgold Wahala: Customer pays GH¢650 verification fee, the date for him to get his money back will shock you

A customer of the now-defunct gold dealership, Menzgold Ghana Limited has taken the initiative to pay the proposed GH¢650 verification fees as part of the process to retrieve locked funds from the company.

The CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1 had in a statement encouraged customers to purchase a GH¢650 Menzgold Digital Verification Access Card in order to verify their transactions.

According to a statement signed by Nana Appiah Mensah, this verification card will give “customers who believe they have genuine indebted transactions claims, to check their transaction status” and get paid accordingly.

While the news of the latest development was not received well on social media, a customer by the name David, took the initiative to try out the verification process as stipulated by the company.

In a screenshot that has now been shared widely on social media, David paid the GHC650 verification fee and this is what he was told;

“Dear cherished client, congratulations on your successful indebted gold trade transaction validation. Kindly note that you’re scheduled for payment of your Gold quantity value on or before 2025-03-20.”

The proposed date for David to finally get a payout from his investment has been set at no later than March 20, 2025.
