Nigerians are making Ghana Music look like ‘feeding bottle'” – Shatta Wale mocks Ghana music after Asake’s successful 02 Arena debut

Popular Ghanaian Dancehall/Reggae artiste, Shatta Wale has made mockery of Ghana music stated that Nigerian artists are making Ghana music look like ‘feeding bottle’ while congratulating Nigerian afrobeats singer Asake on his sold-out O2 Arena concert.

On Sunday night, August 20, Nigerian singer Asake performed in front of 20,000 people at the popular O2 Arena in London, a concert he announced about 3 months ago, and completely sold out a few days to the show!

Since the successful concert, it has generated pressure for Ghanaian musicians and sparked major debate about Nigerian and Ghanaian music.

In a post on his verified Twitter page on Monday, August 21, Shatta Wale, also known for his past online banters with Nigerian artists like Burna Boy and Wizkid, congratulated Asake on his accomplishment, and jokingly compared the Ghana music industry to Nigeria’s.

In the post, he jokingly accused Nigerians of making Ghana music look inferior to theirs, explaining the situation as a feeding bottle compared to an Hennessy bottle, while also acknowledging the speed at which Nigerian artists are doing their things.

He said in part, “Nigerians are making Ghana music look like feeding bottle compared to Hennessy bottle. Congrats to Asake meeenn!!! You guys deh run tooo fast”.

Selling out the entire 20,000 capacity of the O2 Arena last night allowed Asake joins the train of his fellow Nigerian artists like Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy as the fourth artist from Africa to achieve such a feat.
