Renowned veteran Nollywood actor, Chief Pete Edochie, has been honoured with a double honorary doctorate degree and a lifetime achievement award by ISTM University, Togo.
The distinguished actor and a Chief received these accolades at the age of 76.
ISTM University, Togo, paid tribute to Edochie’s significant contributions to the creative industry and his impact on the world of entertainment.
In a video that surfaced online, representatives from the international university visited the actor at his home to personally present the awards.
The awards included a Doctorate in Literature, a Doctorate in Arts, and a Lifetime Achievement Award.
As Edochie received the honors, one of the university’s representatives said; “For all the works he has been doing, and he has been the pioneer in everything that all the younger ones are copying.”
