Ghanaian actor Clement Bonney popularly known as Mr. Beautiful, has disclosed that former President John Dramani Mahama is the only person who can revive the entertainment industry in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview with Halifax Ansah Addo on Okay FM’s ‘Best Entertainment’ show today, Mr. Beautiful asserted that the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has the entertainment industry at heart because he was part of it.
Mr. Beautiful indicated that President John Mahama is a Disk Jockey (DJ) who can make a good selection of tracks when he sits behind the turn tables.
He said it was his wish that every Ghanaian will get the opportunity to be with President Mahama for even 30 minutes to see the kind of person he is.
He said the Dankwa-Busia tradition knows nothing about the entertainment industry because they don’t believe in it.
“Halifax, from what I’m saying let me show you the trend, look at President Kwame Nkrumah, Kutu Acheampong, Jerry John Rawlings, Professor Atta Mills and John Mahama. Look at the line. Tell me what the Dankwa-Busia tradition has done for the entertainment industry in Ghana,” he said.
