Remake old Ghanaian movies with good storylines – Kwasi Aboagye urge film producers

Renowned Ghanaian radio presenter, Kwasi Aboagye also known as Darling Boy, has urged movie producers in Ghana to do a remake of their old movies.

He gave this encouragement during Saturday’s edition of ‘Entertainment Review’ on Peace FM.

Kwasi Aboagye said Ghanaian movie producers made good movies in the 80s and 90s which they need to remake for the new generation to also have a feel of.

According to him, there can be a sequel to a movie like ‘Who Killed Nancy’ so viewers can actually get to unravel the secrets.

He cited an example that in Hollywood, old movies have been remade and are doing well on the market.

He listed some old Ghanaian movies including Kwaw Ansah’s ‘Love Brewed In The African Pot’ which has a good storyline that can be remade.
