Prolific Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, well known as Sarkodie, has been mocked over a supposed United Nations (UN) and the Kofi Annan Foundation award.
Sarkodie and other Ghanaian celebrities were given honorary awards under the theme: UN Kofi Annan Global Excellence In Leadership Award Trophy, 7th Global Leadership Service to Humanity award last weekend.
After the awards were given to them, one Mr Elvin came out with a piece of evidence suggesting that the convenor of the award scheme, Dr Kwame Owusu Fordjour, is not recognized by the organizations he claimed to be representing.
Most of these internet trolls are questioning why a popular musician like Sarkodie didn’t do any checks before going for the award.
According to them, Dr Fordjour’s appearance, speech and overall disposition should have given the award receivers a hint about how fake it was.
