Sonnie Badu Claims 78% of Gospel Musicians and Bishops in America Are Gay

Singer and pastor Sonnie Badu recently made claims that 78 per cent of American gospel musicians including bishops are gay.

During an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, he expressed concerns about the increasing presence of LGBTQ+ content, prompting him to limit his children’s access to YouTube. He pointed out the subtle inclusion of gay themes, even on seemingly innocent platforms like Disney World, and underscored the widespread prevalence of LGBTQ+ representation in the music industry.

According to Badu, around 78% of gospel musicians in America are gay, with many actively participating in LGBT activities. He suggested that upon discovering their involvement, one would likely refrain from playing their music. Additionally, Badu mentioned that even some bishops, whom they respect and listen to, are involved in LGBT activities.

“In my house, my kids don’t watch YouTube anymore,” he stated. “There isn’t any content without propagating the LGBTQ+ agenda. Even with Disney World, there is nothing innocent being shown anymore, even though their attempt is subtle, it has lasting effects on the young viewer.”

He continued, “In America, about 78% of gospel musicians there are gay; most of these popular musicians that we play their songs on our airwaves and in our churches are into LGBT activities. If you get to know them you won’t play their songs again. Even some of the bishops that we follow and listen to are involved in LGBT activities.”

He recounted being cautioned by a fellow gospel musician not to intervene in such matters.

“One of the gospel musicians even warned me to mind my business when I see the things they’re involved in because they know I am conservative,” he said.
